The Buy Side Club Dinner
As a leader within a rapidly growing asset management firm, I would like to extend a personnel invitation to The Buy Side Club Dinner – 10th June, St James’ Hotel & Club, Central London.
Asset Management Firms are being every closely governed and regulated, often at a great cost to growth and scaling your firm. This careful balancing act between regulation and growth is becoming a concern to many a firm and as a result, there are some strong opinions on both sides of the scales as to the correct strategy to proceed.
The Buy Side Club will be meeting to discuss these issues and more over a lavish three course meal and in the company of fellow senior asset managers. You will be joined by 16 other senior guests for drinks, dinner and discussion chaired by Andrew Simpson, a market structure specialist and thought leader on the impact of regulatory change.
We will discuss issues affecting growth within asset management firms, such as upcoming European regulations like T+2, EMIR and MiFID II/ MiFIR, as well as seeking answers to:
- In light of recent political events, is EU regulation tampering with growth for Asset management?
- What is the right balance between growth and regulation going forward?
- If regulation is an inevitability, how do asset managers and High Frequency traders overcome process inefficiencies?
