The C-Suite Marketing Club – 26/03/2014

  • Location:Central London
  • Venue:Haymarket Hotel

You Can’t Tweet the C-Suite! How to Unlock the Door to Senior Decision Makers.
They are the holy grail of B2B marketing: C-suite executives open the doors, make the decisions and write the checks. What’s more, they are increasingly difficult to reach through conventional marketing channels.
The C-Suite Marketing Dinner will bring together London’s leading B2B marketers to tackle these issues head on and discuss the following:

How c-suite marketing is changing?

Are there new smart ways to engage the c-suite?

Can one use analytics and data to market to the C-Suite or is this the preserve of B2C marketers’?

Attendance is by invitation only and you will be joined by fifteen other Marketing Directors and Business Development Directors from the UK’s fastest growing software, technology and IT service companies.
Currently attending are sales directors and marketing directors from Logicalis, NetSuite and Appian as well as other leading B2B business development, marketing and sales directors.

In some ways, CEO’s, CTO’s, COO’s and other senior figures are just like the rest of us. We are all bombarded by messages and advertising campaigns, be it at home, in the office, or on our way between the two. After a while we all start to turn off.
The C-Suite is similar but with some fundamental differences, for starters they have gate keeps. The most senior of decision makers have a whole phalanx of assistants, schedulers and staff dedicated to filtering out unwanted phone calls, visitors, emails and other messages. They are scheduled down to the nanosecond for three 3 months at any given moment, as a result they have very little time to listen and consider what you are offering. All this means that we need to employ innovative, smart methods to engage with the C-Suite.

What these approaches actually involve is still very much up for debate. However, as the rest of the marketing industry is moving towards, science, analytics and heaps of data on their potential consumer, C-Suite marketers have struggled to follow suite due to the elusiveness of their intended audience and the lack of data.

As a result, one cannot help but wonder is a scientific approach to marketing the preserve of B2C marketers, or can analytics be used to market to the C-Suite and if so, what will this look like?
If you are unable to track engagement, can you use analytics to predict which account’s have a higher need and requirement for your solution? Are you able to track the level of interest an individual has on you proposition?
These are just some of the questions we will debate, discuss and answer at The C-Suite Marketing Dinner. Attendance is by invitation only.

I do hope you will be able to join us for what is sure to be a great night and an informative discussion.
I look forward to hearing back from you.
