The Change Makers Club
An exclusive event for forward looking business leaders
The Change Makers Club exists to bring together high profile, forward thinking business leaders looking to drive change within the insurance Sector. The club’s carefully selected members meet quarterly at discrete dining locations across the capital to share their thoughts on recent advancements in the industry.
The Clubs next dinner will be taking place at Brewers’ Hall on June 18th. The Brewers’ Company is one of the oldest Livery Companies in the capital and their site next to St.Paul’s Cathedral has been hosting exclusive events since 1422. Steeped in tradition this unique venue in the heart of the City of London provides the perfect backdrop for the Change Makers’ summer soiree.
Our keynote speaker on the evening will be Phil Churchman, CIO (EMEA) at Crawford Insurance . Having spent the majority of his career working as a management consultant and after spending three years as Aviva’s Strategy & Planning Director, Phil is a leading authority in the change management space. He will be sharing how a combination of careful planning, strategic processes and modern technology allowed Crawford to respond to quickly to crisis situations and build a more competitive Insurance business.
Alongside Phil’s talk there will be a round table discussion mediated by Kate Gingras, Appian’s Insurance Practice Leader. Kate will be drawing from her broad industry expertise to focus debate on one central question; how can connected Insurance businesses best utilise next generation business models to fuel growth and performance?
For a business to be connected in the truest sense of the word it must exist as a singular digital community. Many Insurers still experience a certain degree of separation – between people, process, data and machines. So what can be done to bridge these divides? And what impact is this digital separation having on your ability to attract and retain talent, brokers & customers?
With the number of mobile devices predicted to grow from 10bn to 50bn units over the next few years complete enterprise collaboration is more important than ever. A shared digital environment reduces the complexities associated with operating multiple platforms: mobile and collaboration capabilities provide the bridge into the greater community of colleagues, thereby speeding up business processes and significantly driving revenue growth.
The consumer must also not be overlooked when considering the merits of a connected enterprise. Customer service has been reinvented now that mobile applications have become the main point of engagement. Apps make it easy for customers to engage with organizations through a variety of sales, service and marketing processes and without one that is easy to a business risks putting its reputation on the line.
