The Change Makers Club 22/04/2015
In 2015 digital disruption is showing no signs of slowing, as evidenced by global disruptors like Uber and Airbnb. Market share is up for grabs by those companies prepared to innovate and move beyond simply applying digital technology to their existing models. Tomorrow’s market leaders are combining digitalisation and agility to create new business models poised to cause industry-wide upset.
Gartner recently predicted that by 2017, 70% of successful digital business models will rely on deliberately unstable processes, or those that allow a company the agility to shift in parallel with business and customer needs. However, Gartner also predicts that only 30% of businesses who attempt this move will be successful by 2017.
- As an industry leader, how much flexibility does your current digital strategy provide?
- Would it take your company more than 6-months to respond to an industry-wide disruption?
- What are tomorrow’s leaders doing to overcome status quo cultures and embrace the transition from ‘stability’ to agility?
